Daniël de Jong

Daniël is a product and landscape photographer, born and raised in Groningen, a lively student city in the north of the Netherlands. After dedicating over three years to product photography, he discovered a passion for landscape photography during hikes and travels in the rural countryside of the Netherlands and other parts of Europe.

Inspired by the charm of the north, Daniel endeavors to narrate his story through melancholic and atmospheric landscape compositions, showcasing his distinctive style. His professional expertise in product and still-life photography mirrors the same mood and tones, yet diverges with vibrant decors, rustic atmospheres, and clean aesthetics.

Daniel de Jong is a Dutch photographer based in Groningen, known for his atmospheric style and distinctive visual storytelling. His work explores two contrasting yet complementary worlds: the refined stillness of product photography and the sweeping grandeur of natural landscapes.
Through his Instagram account @igotstills, Daniel showcases his product and still-life photography — blending clean design with rich textures and subtle mood. His compositions often feature minimalistic setups infused with a cinematic quality, elevating everyday objects into visual art.
On @igotscapes, he turns his lens toward the outdoors. From foggy fields in the Dutch countryside to mountain ranges across Europe, to cities and villages, his landscape and street photography captures quiet, contemplative moments in nature or urban environments, often with a melancholic tone that reflects his signature aesthetic.
With a background in design, music and social work, and years of experience behind the camera, Daniel has worked with a list of international brands.
Whether photographing a handcrafted object in-studio, chasing light across a windswept hill, capturing the emotion of a wedding day, a candid street scene, or the professionalism of a business or architectural shoot — Daniel brings the same careful eye, sensitivity, and creative consistency to every frame. He is available for commercial work, portraits, weddings, and creative collaborations both locally and internationally.
